Garlic is a good solution to get rid of sty faster, but please consider this is not for everyone since you have to be careful not to get the garlic into your eye or it will sting. To use garlic cut 1 garlic clove, apply the inner part directly on the sty. Another option is to mash the clove and apply it on the sty with a q-tip. You will feel the difference in a few days.

Another remedy that helps to soothe the pain is to use tea compress. Use regular or chamomile tea, put 1 tea bag in a cup of warm water, stir, and wait until it's not too warm. Then dip a cotton wool and apply on the eye while closed. Tea is good for sty and other eye problems like eye infection, swollen eyes, and more.

Another remedy for sty is made of lemon. Take 1 fresh lemon, and make a fresh lemon juice, you only need a little bit so 1 lemon will do the work. Apply the lemon juice on the sty without getting it into the eye. Like the tea, this solution will soothe the pain and will also help to get rid of the problem faster.

When you suffer from sty you need to clean the bacteria that is causing it, so using salted water is also a good solution for eye sty. Use warm water and add some salt into it. With a cotton ball, apply the water on the eye while closed; make sure the water is not too warm. This will help to clean the eye and will make the sty disappear faster. Repeat this for a few days.

One more solution is to use some heat in order to make the sty heal faster. What you need to do is rub your index finger on the palm of your hand to create heat, when you feel your finger is starting to get warm put it directly on the sty while your eye is closed. Make sure your finger is not too warm when you put it on the eye. The heat will help to soothe the pain and also make the sty heal faster. Make sure your hands are clean before you start using this remedy and also wash them well once done since you don’t want the bacteria to get to your other eye.
