Home Remedies for Blue Marks

Blue marks are treatable; if you have a mark that is caused by a simple bruise you can treat it with eggs. What you need to do is take one raw egg and rub it on the blue spot. The minerals that the egg contains will help it to heal faster.

If you just bruised yourself but there is no blue mark yet you should put ice on the spot to prevent blue marks and swelling. You can wrap the ice cube in a paper towel so it won’t feel too cold on your skin. If you don’t have ice cubes in the freezer you can take a spoon, put it in the freezer for a few minutes and apply the back of the spoon on the spot where you got the bruise. This will have the same effect as the ice.

Parsley is a wonderful home remedy for bruises and blue marks, all you need to do is take a few parsley leaves, mash them into dough and apply the green dough on the spot where you have the mark, leave it on the spot for a few minutes and wash the area. Keep doing that for a few days.

Cabbage is a known natural remedy for many ailments and is the simplest remedy for blue marks; you just need to take some cabbage leaves and apply them on the blue part. You need to leave the cabbage on the skin for a few minutes so if you get really inpatient you can just tape it to your skin with a band-aid.
